Earth-sized VLBI

(near-maximal Earth-based VLBI)

Earth-sized VLBI is Very-long-baseline Interferometry (VLBI) (specifically, Electronic Very-long-baseline Interferometry (e-VLBI)) using Radio Telescopes distant enough to essentially cover the Earths' diameter. These may be assembled from existing telescopes as available. One such setup included Radio telescopes in Chile, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, South Africa, and Sweden.
