The Hawaii K-Band Galaxy Survey from the 1990s
was a Near-infrared Astronomical Survey of select
fields using IRCAM on United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) and NICMOS3 on the
UH88 telescope, with Photometry including the K Band
and Optical Bands and followup Spectrography
using 2dF on the Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT).
Distant galaxies were discovered, inducing further study.
