multichroic feedhorn array

(multichroic array)
(radio array with sensors for two or more bands)

A multichroic feedhorn array (shortened to multichroic array, e.g., in context) is an array of feedhorns (type of receiver used for radio or far infrared wavelengths) for which the sensing can be done in two or more bands. In effect, the single array serves the purpose of two or more. Some have the capability of carrying out observation at the different frequencies simultaneously.
