Munich Near-Infrared Cluster Survey
(1990s-2000s galaxy cluster survey)
The Munich Near-Infrared Cluster Survey (MUNICS)
was a medium-deep infrared photometric
survey carried out in the 1990s and
2000s on the Calar Alto 3.5 meter telescope
using its Omega-Prime camera with optical
observation using the Calar Alto 2.2 meter telescope.
The survey covered about 1 square degree, searching for
galaxies and galaxy clusters.
