(1960s follow-up to Cambridge radio surveys)

The designator NRAO (for National Radio Astronomy Observatory) has been used for radio sources surveyed by the Green Bank 300ft Telescope (GB300), doing follow-up observations on Third Cambridge Catalogue of Radio Sources (3C) listings.
