2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey

(2dFGRS)
(imaging survey of 300,000 objects)

The 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey is a 1500-square-degree survey using the 3.9m Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT) collected between 1997 and 2002. Photometer data for 380,000 objects (galaxies, Quasars (QSO)) was collected along with Spectroscopy data for 245,000 of them. The limiting Magnitude was 19.5 covering Redshifts (z) to 0.3.
