AFGL Four Color Infrared Sky Survey
(1970s infrared survey)
The AFGL Four Color Infrared Sky Survey
was a rocket-based astronomical survey
of infrared sources carried out in the early
1970s using nine sub-orbital rocket missions,
by the AFGL (Air Force Geophysics Laboratory).
A 1980s revision of the catalog
using additional observations is indicated by the
designator RAFGL (Revised AFGL).
