ATHENA

(planned ESA X-ray space telescope)

Note that the name Athena or ATHENA has a number of common uses in current astrophysics, among them:

ATHENA (for Advanced Telescope for High Energy Astrophysics) is a planned ESA X-ray-telescope space mission aiming for a 2035 launch for an L2 Lagrangian point deployment. It aims for an angular resolution on the order of 5 arcseconds. Instruments:

Athena is the name of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) code developed at Princeton University.

Athena is the name of a code to find second-order correlation functions (N-point functions), e.g., to analyze observed galaxy distributions in search of instances of gravitational lensing.
