AU Microscopii (AU Mic) is a nearby young variable M-type star with a debris disk, thought to be on the order of 22 million years old. It has two known extra-solar planets, both confirmed by Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite after suspicions based on variability suggesting disk asymmetries which plausibly could result from planet.
