Gravitational Wave Transient Catalog

The Gravitational Wave Transient Catalog (GWTC) is a series of catalogs of the GW detections from the Observing Runs (O1, O2, O3) of the LIGO and Virgo gravitational-wave detectors. Current sections:

• GWTC-1 aka O1/O2 Catalog - announced in 2019, covering observing runs O1 and O2.
• GWTC-2 aka O3a Catalog - announced 2021, covering first half of O3.
• GWTC-2.1 - announced 2021, same as GWTC-2 but listing more candidate signals, i.e., with a lesser probability of being a true detection.
• GWTC-3 aka O3b Catalog - announced 2021, covering the latter half of O3.
