Messier 67 (M67 or NGC 2682) is an open cluster of old stars, the cluster presumed to be 3 to 5 gigayears old: all its main sequence stars are F-type or later. It contains a number of white dwarfs among its stellar remnants. It is the oldest known open cluster and much studied as an example of an open cluster of such an age. Characteristics:
