(Mills)
(early 1950s survey of southern-hemisphere radio sources)

In the early 1950s, radio astronomer Bernard Mills of Australia carried out a survey of the southern-viewable sky at 101 MHz, producing a catalog of 77 radio sources, now referenced with the designator prefix "Mills". The instrument was Mills's Badgerys Creek 101-MHz Interferometer.
