PHIBSS

(Plateau de Bure High-z Blue Sequence Survey)
(survey of CO in distant galaxies)

PHIBSS (Plateau de Bure High-z Blue Sequence Survey) is a Survey run as part of Institut de radioastronomie millimétrique, to study Star Formation and Gas Fractions, specifically Carbon Monoxide, of galaxies in the Redshift=1 to z=3 range. Its goal is to produce high-resolution maps of galaxies in the Star Formation Main Sequence. Both optical and millimeter images are included. Observations were carried out over 2008 to 2012 and various results have been published beginning in 2009.
