(PKS)
(catalog of from 1960s-1990 of radio sources in southern hemisphere)

The Parkes Catalog (PKS) is an Astronomical Catalog from a Radio Survey of the southern hemisphere by the Parkes Observatory. It was first published in 1969 based on a 408MHz survey, and later enhanced with observation data at 2650MHz, 1410MHz and other Frequencies.

Many Radio Galaxies were discovered and still are known by their "PKS" designation.
