Silicon

Silicon is an element with atomic number 14, symbol Si. It has three stable isotopes.

Silicon comes from Oxygen (O) burning and the Alpha Process, in large stars and in supernovae (SN). Silicon Spectral Lines are sometimes used in Metallicity (Z) studies.
