(software to correlate intensity maps with sources)

SIMSTACK is data-analysis software to locate the signs of specific Electromagnetic Radiation sources (e.g., galaxies) in intensity maps, i.e., Surveys that survey a section of the Celestial Sphere for the Intensity of a chosen Wavelength or Passband. A SIMSTACK analysis can incorporate multiple catalogs of sources and multiple intensity maps, e.g., of different wavelengths. It effectively yields Photometry-like data on the sources.

Two version are available: in the IDL programming language and the Python programming language.
