TolTEC

(sensitive infrared camera under construction for the LMT)

TolTEC is an a microwave camera under construction for the Large Millimeter Telescope. It will simultaneously image in three bands (150 GHz, 220 GHz, 280 GHz) using 7,000 KID detectors. It is designed for high-speed surveying. Its development and deployment is a NSF AST MSIP project, and to fulfill a condition, four surveys will be carried out and their data made public:

As of mid-2021, TolTEC is projected to be installed by the end of the year.
