WINGS (for Wide-field Nearby Galaxy-cluster Survey)
was a follow-up survey of galaxy clusters
in the range of 0.04 to 0.07 found in ROSAT data.
Observations were carried out in visible light,
near infrared, ultraviolet, and spectrography.
Catalogs of galaxies and (coincident)
Milky Way stars were produced.
