Bullet Cluster

(1E 6057-556)
(example of two galaxy clusters in collision)

The Bullet Cluster is two colliding Galaxy Clusters (CL) 1.141 Gpc distant. The name actually refers to the smaller of the two. Studies using observations of its Gravitational Lensing claim to show characteristics of Dark Matter.
