Kitt Peak National Observatory (KPNO) in Arizona is a NOIRLab (formerly, NOAO) site. NOIRLab has an analogous site in the southern hemisphere, the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO). KPNO hosts more than ten telescopes, including the Mayall 4m Telescope the WIYN 3.5m Telescope, the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope, the KPNO 2.1 m Telescope, the 1.3 m Robotically Controlled Telescope (RCT), and the Bok 2.3m Telescope (owned by Steward Observatory).
