Tau-REx

(Tau Retrieval for Exoplanets)
(spectral line retrieval code for exoplanet atmospheres)

Tau-REx (for Tau Retrieval for Exoplanets) is a code to retrieve exoplanet atmospheric parameters (constituents, temperature, pressure, etc.) from transit spectroscopy data. It is an inverse model that incorporates an earlier-developed forward model called Tau, which produces a spectrum from atmospheric parameters. Tau-REx also includes modules that manage an efficient search for the parameters to produce the observed spectrum.
